Welcome to Lockport Leadership! The leadership team is comprised of students in grades 7-9 and is guided by Ms. Lambert, Mr. Morelli, and Mrs. Lyle. This is a group that dedicates time to volunteering and connecting with communities, promoting school spirit, and organizing school-wide philanthropic events. It is open to all students who can commit to investing time and energy towards these goals and who are able to keep up with their school work. Check back often to see what we're up to next! Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have! Mr. Morelli at [email protected] / Ms. Lambert at [email protected] / Mrs. Lyle at [email protected]
CURRENT PROJECTBackpack InitiativeThe Leadership team is project to support Bear Clan Patrol! The purpose is to gather basic necessities for the homeless and fill donated backpacks or bags with these items. We are asking for families to help Lockport School support this youth-run initiative for the first time!
If you have a bag that you are no longer using then this is a great opportunity to donate it to a worthy cause! Please click on the link below for a list of items needed. Thank you for your support! |
Past eventThe students at Lockport once again participated in WE Scare Hunger. This was a school-wide event run by the Leadership team. In the past 3 years, our school collected over 3000 lbs of food! This has been donated to the Selkirk Food Bank on behalf of Lockport School.

Past event2018: Lockport WE Day - WE All Matter To increase awareness and acceptance of a diverse population, the Leadership team held our second in-school Lockport WE Day. Our last our theme was “WE All Matter”. There were 6 different activity and awareness stations that helped to build education and empathy among our students about how regardless of our past experiences, each one of us matters and is valuable in our society.
