It's been so cold outside that I've finally decided to take a long nap and go into hibernation mode. I've told my human to turn up the heat over and over again, but she just keeps telling me not to complain because I'm wearing a fur coat. Mr. Panda looks like he has the right idea so I thought I'd join him. We're protesting the cold and the lack of heat at home while also getting in some quality nap time!

My human decided to dress me up as a lil' pumpkin this year. I have to admit that I'm not a fan of having to wear this silly hat. I tried to shake it off but it kept getting caught on my ears! Next year, I hope I get to wear something a little scarier. I think I'd look great as FrankenBun! I'm crossing my paws that I'll get some of this massive pumpkin I'm posing beside as a treat soon. Did anyone else dress up like a pumpkin this year?
It's been cloudy and chilly the last few days and I miss the sun. All the clouds and gloominess have made me want to take more naps. My human thinks I'm just being lazy but I'm actually conserving energy for when it's nice outside and I get to run around. I've checked out the weather forecast and it looks like I have a few more days to nap and get ready to run in the sun!
Hoppy Holidays and New Year, everyone!
My human and I spent a lot of time hanging out at home during her time away from work. I was super excited because I got to watch a few Indiana Jones movies on Netflix. I love those movies! I think I'd make an excellent sidekick if he ever needs a bunny to help on his adventures. As always, my human complained I was blocking her view to the tv, but I didn't think there were any problems at all! I got a new toy yesterday and I can't stop playing with it! My human has told me it's something called a "paper towel roll". Whatever it is, I LOVE to toss it around and nibble on the edges. I tried to play it cool once I noticed she was videoing me. I turned from side to side and tried to pretend she wasn't there. I even gave her my disapproving side-eye glance hoping she would go away. Finally, I gave in and gave her phone a big nose boop! I got to watch a movie with my human this past weekend! I picked an adventure movie with Indiana Jones. He's my favourite! I hope that I get to wear that kind of hat one day. As usual, I made sure to get my front row seat to watch the movie. My human always complains when I get this prime seat because she says I'm blocking her view. I think she should just buy another sofa for her to sit on so that I can have this one all to myself.
There was an emergency at my apartment yesterday morning. My human informed me that we had NO BANANAS!!! I hopped into the kitchen to get some banana for breakfast and that's when I found out the news. She told me to calm down and quit stomping my foot on the ground, but I was furious! How could she let that happen? I told her to go shopping immediately to fix this tragic situation but she reminded me that she's only going to the store once a week right now while to help flatten the curve. I think she needs to plan ahead a bit better this week and buy a extra bananas so we can avoid this awful situation again next weekend.
Here's a picture of my face right after my human broke the banana news to me. As you can see, I was baffled and horrified! I hope everybun had a fun and safe Halloween! As you may have noticed from my picture, I decided to dress up as a lil' pumpkin. My human had to take my picture quickly because she was afraid I would nibble on the cord of lights. She was probably right. I decided to wake her up extra early because I was so excited to celebrate. I hopped up onto her pillow and nudged her face until she woke up. I know she appreciated this gesture. I watched spooky movies with human all day. Even though I tried to look super cute, she didn't share her popcorn with me. I pouted until she gave me a few treats of my own. You can watch one of my favourite Halloween videos below. I hope you like it as much as I do! I've been a curious bunny the past few days.
My human has been leaving the apartment every day since Monday to go to school. She has been home with me practically every day since March and suddenly she's leaving me alone every day?!?! I decided I needed to investigate what was going on. I hopped over to where she was this morning while she was putting things in her bag to take with her. Now, whenever my human goes to work early in the morning, she puts her breakfast in a little shallow container to take with her. She says it's too early for her to be hungry yet so she eats it a while later. She likes toast with peanut butter and sliced bananas, which is why I get to share a banana every morning with her. This morning, she put her breakfast container down beside her bag as she got ready. I was quite curious about what she was putting in the bag and thought I'd hop over everything to take a look. And that's when I got into trouble... When I tried to hop over her breakfast to get to her bag, my little bunny feet slipped because it was on the tile floor so I didn't get as much clearance with my jump as I normally would. And this morning, she didn't put a lid on her breakfast container. Quite to my shock, I had flopped right into her breakfast! I panicked and jumped out as quickly as I could, but the peanut butter had smeared all over my belly and some banana slices got stuck to my bunny butt. I startled myself so much that I scampered out of there as quickly as I could! My human tried to call me back over to clean me up, but I hid under the couch. It took a little while, but eventually I came out and let her clean me up. The picture I posted has nothing to do with the chaos I caused this morning. I chose this picture because I am actually a cute and innocent bunny! I had some fun yesterday while my human was trying to take my picture. Every time she tried to capture a shot, I moved! She became quite frustrated with me, but I think she respected my decision to be silly in the end. She had to delete a LOT of blurry pictures from her phone. Here are all the bloopers she took of me. I especially like the closeup of the top of my head because my fur looks quite fantastic in that picture!
Hope you're all have a good Monday! ~Frisbee I like to keep an eye on what's going on in my neighbourhood. I think it's important that I supervise the cars and the people on the sidewalk. I also like to make sure that my plants are all watered. Occasionally, I nibble on the plants that are on my window ledge, so my human made sure that all the plants that are within my reach are bunny safe! My human had just watered the plants this morning and I needed to check to make sure that they weren't still thirsty.
I think I might make my own neighbourhood watch club. If any other bunnies are interested, let me know. Maybe we can get reflective vests and official badges to let everyone know how important we are! ~Frisbee This video was taken years ago in the first month of being in foster with my human. I was finally starting to understand that the crinkly plastic sounds and the little clicking noises my human was making meant that I would get a treat if I hopped over to her. It was such a great day when I figured this out because it meant I got lots of treats! Once I understood what this awesome sound meant, I would come hopping towards my human no matter where I was in the apartment. If she was calling me from the living room and I was in the bedroom, I'd come bounding towards her at top speed. Even now, I love to hear that sound and I go hopping over to see what treat is waiting for me. ~Frisbee I decided to redecorate my hay area. My human had just filled my hay bin but it looked too neat and tidy for me. I decided to add some flair to it. I dug down to the bottom of the bin and yanked those pieces of hay up to the top. Then, I pulled other pieces outside of the bin and down onto the floor. I like how it looks like a waterfall of hay! My human told me I had made a mess and got a bit upset, but I think it looks like a work of art. I think my human should recognize my work of art because she is an art teacher after all!
~Frisbee I woke up to something new in my living room and decided I had to investigate. This odd pink cylinder is in my space. I have no idea where it came from or what it could possibly be. I think it's made out of cardboard which is quite tempting because I love to nibble on cardboard! Perhaps I'll do some bunstruction on this thing to reshape it a bit. I've discovered that it rolls when I nudge it. It doesn't move like my toy ball does, just forwards and backwards. I'll do some more investigating this week and see if I can get to the bottom of this mystery.
~Frisbee Something horrible happened this past weekend! My human left me behind when she went to the cabin! Can you believe it? I'm shocked at her behaviour! She kept telling me that she was only going for a day to plant a garden, that she would be planting some veggies for me, and that she would be cleaning the inside of my cabin, but still! I was left out of the fun car ride and I didn't get to hop around my yard. I'm not sure why this travesty happened or why she didn't want my company. I could have supervised the work in the garden to make sure she planted everything properly. I could have chased around the loud machine that gets pushed all over the carpets. I would have been excellent company and quite helpful.
I gave her this look the entire next day just to let her know how upset I was. Maybe you could email my human to let her know never to leave me behind again? ~Frisbee This ball is my favourite toy. I love to push it all around my living room. I like to lay beside it to supervise and make sure nobun steals it. Sometimes it gets wedged underneath the chairs or my couch so I have to get my human's help.
Do you see that huge ball on the right side of this picture? My human says that's hers. She sits on it when she's working to help something called "posture" (I have no idea what that is). But I think I should be allowed to play with that one, too! I try to nudge it when she's on it but she always shoos me away and tells me I'm being a pest. Maybe I'll try stealing it from her one night when she's asleep... ~Frisbee This photo was take a few years ago just before Easter. My human had been fostering me for 4 months by then. She taught me how to use a litter bin, how to do tricks, that I didn't need to be afraid of loud noises, and that I could trust humans. I loved to follow her around everywhere in the apartment. I even liked to sleep at the end of the comfy big bed every night.
She was starting to get phone calls from other people asking about me. They wanted to come meet me and adopt me. But I had already decided that I was home and I didn't want to leave. I mean, how could I leave? This was my home and my human, and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else! One day, just before some people were going to come and meet me, I posed by this sign for my human to see. I made sure to look as cute as I could so it would be hard to resist. It worked! I got to stay with her and we've been together ever since. ~Frisbee Check out this photo! Don't my whiskers look amazing? I also kind of look like I'm super tall and the size of a dinosaur which is kind of awesome. I weigh about 2 1/2 pounds so it's neat to see myself look so tall!
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I know that lots of you are getting excited for summer to start. I am too because it means I get to go and live at my cabin for a couple of months. I love to hop around my yard and supervise my vegetable garden to make sure no pesky birds eat all my veggies! ~Frisbee I think my human played an awful trick on me and has stolen my left ear. As you can see, I'm not impressed. I just don't understand why she would take it! She has 2 perfectly good ears. I know her hearing is really good because she hears it whenever I get into mischief in my apartment. Maybe you all could email her and tell her to give me back my ear? Have you ever stolen your furry friend's ears before?
~Frisbee Happy June, everybun!
My human keeps saying she can't believe it's June already. I'm not sure exactly what she means by this. I'm just happy that the sun is out for such a long time each day right now! This is a photo of me sitting on one of my favourite chairs. My human's grandpa made it and her grandma covered it with this fabric a looooong time ago. Apparently, it's something called an "antique" so I have to be very careful when I'm on it. I like this chair because I can see the entire living room and dining area when I sit on it. I can supervise everything that's happening and see where the best beams are to nap under! I hope that everyone has a good June and a great week! ~Frisbee I decided to start my weekend a bit early today. I woke up, had some breakfast, and then decided it was time for a nap. I don't always do this, but my human had just used the loud machine all over the carpets which made them nice and fluffy. I love it when she cleans the carpets and fluffs them up. I decided to take advantage and stretch right out! I was sleeping until my human decided she needed to take this photo of me because I looked "so cute". I could be angry at her for waking me up, but she's right! I AM cute so how could she possibly resist taking my picture?!
I hope everyone has a good weekend! ~Frisbee Last Halloween, my human brought home a bunch of pumpkins. Now, some bunnies might find this exciting because they like to have pumpkin as a treat. Not me. Bleh! I don't even like the smell of pumpkins so you can imagine how un-thrilled I was to be put in the middle of all of these things! She said she wanted to get a photo of me with the pumpkins that the students from her school carved. I decided I would be nice and pose for this picture. As you can see, I did find the big pumpkin beside me a bit fascinating. The big, glowing eyes and and mouth were a bit spooky. I have to admit, I did end up liking the pumpkins that were carved and glowed in the dark. They were fun to look at!
~Frisbee I look forward to Wednesdays because it's the day of the week where I get to show off my lovely whiskers! I've looked at whiskers on other bunnies and I have to say that mine are pretty fantastic. I especially love my eyebrow whiskers. Those ones are tough to grow and keep in good shape. I invest a lot of grooming and care into them to make sure they look fabulous. I like to keep all my whiskers nice and clean because then the light shines off of them and makes them looking like they are sparkling! In fact, I've asked my human if she'd put sparkles on my whiskers but she said "no" because she worries I'll get them stuck in my tummy when I give myself a bath. I guess she's right, but I still think that sparkled whiskers would be amazing. If I have the choice, I think I'd get them in all the colours of the rainbow.
~Frisbee I got to watch another Indiana Jones movie last weekend! We watched "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" on Saturday. Even though some of you might think that bunnies don't actually watch movies, I really do! My human captured my reaction on video to the beginning of the movie for you to see. I like the jumpy parts and then settling back into my loafing position. I just love watching his adventures and all the cool things he does. I think I would make an excellent sidekick for him just like Short Round did in this movie. Hopefully one day I'll get the chance to go on an Indiana Jones adventure of my own! ~Frisbee I thought I'd help get your week off to a great start by posting a picture of my adorable nose! My human says it's super cute so I got her to take a close-up photo to share with all of you. The water at my cabin was turned on this weekend which means that I'll get to go up there soon. I just love it there. There is a big living room to do zoomies in and we have a veranda where I nap under the beams. My human sets up a little fan there so I don't get too hot. It always makes me look like a movie star when the wind blows through my fur!
Have a great week, everyone! ~Frisbee |
